Overview
The Business Analyst/IT Specialist will have two main functions to support the cyclical development activities, Business Analyst & Quality Assurance. The Business Analyst/IT Specialist is responsible for working with multiple business units to gather and document requirements, analyze the impacts on existing systems, and create process mapping. It is also expected that the Business Analyst/IT Specialist will be responsible for the quality assurance activities including authoring test planning documentation, coordinating test activities with development and user groups, and actively testing. In addition, the Business Analyst/IT Specialist will work with the other analysts to ensure continuous service to the organization, and support reporting out of the team tools.

Specific Responsibilities
Support Cyclical Development Activities:
- Design and map solutions and provide support to Change Requests including requirements gathering, feasibility study & mapping, testing and support of user acceptance, as necessary.
- Monitors system issue tickets and assist in resolving/replying to users.
- Create specifications and test cases and facilitate acceptance of newly approved requirements changes.
- Develop documentation and provide training to users on new and updated functionality.
- Provide regular updates using the standard project tracking software.
- Support and document the development of business process models, as required.
- Coordinate with various vendors providing development services.
Qualifications and Experience

Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
Experience
Required:
- 3-5 years experience
- Preferable 5+ years’ operational experience in working with IT project teams involved in detailed requirements gathering, documentation, system mapping, and testing.
- Experience in IT systems in support of logistics, warehousing, procurement, or other aspects of supply chain management using ERP systems.
- Thorough experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies and tools.
- Previous experience with industry standard project management, requirements tracking, and/or testing tools. (e.g. Jira, SmartSheets, Selenium, HP products, Rational tools)
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service, and the ability to interact with all levels of leadership.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds.

- Ability to work comfortably with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Project Desirable.
Physical Demands
- Travel requirements: Willingness and availability to travel, and perform other duties as needed. Must be eligible to work in The Netherlands.
